潜心药物分析教学和研究。在化学药品、中药和体内药物分析等领域均有研究探索。提出了中药的随行“指纹对照”质量分析与控制策略,探索出了中药的比较药代动力学研究思路。并针对丹参、苦参、黄杨、雷公藤和牛黄解毒片等多种传统中成药进行了质量、药效和安全相关的深入研究。
